Quinn is a singer songwriter currently based in Boston, Massachusetts. She is attending Berklee College of Music for Songwriting, Performance, and Music Therapy. Quinn has taken moments from her life and has transformed them into songs for everyone. Her debut EP Words is a different take on the classic love song mixing pop and alternative sounds to create a different sound. Words can be found on all listening services.
"Every generation a singer emerges that speaks directly to that generation’s collective view and feeling. It can’t be fully explained or calculated. It comes through in every word and note. It doesn’t try, it just is. This is Quinn Flannery.
There are influences of Nina Simone to St. Vincent to Lorde. Quinn's music feels real, conversational and yet gets to the core of her experiences, wrapped in joy and longing, anger and beauty, fun and heavy. It goes down easy but the complication and power are just under the surface.
Quinn blows up the idea of pop or alternative. She is both at the same time. Her melodies are unforgettable, classic, and beautiful but come stripped down and often brutal. Wild and playful, free and smart. Quinn can let the listener in; she’s as open and vulnerable as she is clear and resolute.. There is connection in every note."
